RESPONSIBILITIES

Innovative and fresh content:
  • Develop engaging conversations and content threads for flyadeal’s social media platforms, propose themes and ensure high-quality delivery
  • Develop an overall marketing plan for social media platforms ensuring platform-specific profiles are fully leveraged
  • Work with internal and external partners to develop ideas into the best executions
  • Adjust content by medium to benefit from specifics of audience motivations and behaviors
  • Ensure that content is fresh and engaging
  • Own brand guidelines for consistency and brilliance of brand delivery through all social channels
  • Plan quarterly and supervise day-to-day social media workflows, calendars, and monitoring
  • Ensure that each piece of content reflects the ethics and the norms of Saudi Arabia. Run internal content checks with the stakeholders, both the management and the peer groups of employees

Social Community
  • Drive community, campaign, and competitive listening elements of Social Media, and SM Command Center
  • Oversee moderation of campaign-related conversations to enhance engagement and handle risks and negatives
  • Drive identification of high clout engagements, develop supporters and advocates, effectively manage detractors

Project Management
  • Prepare project briefs for external agencies that clearly outline project background, objectives, insights, audience, timing
  • Be always on time and on budget
  • Assure efficient resources to deliver projects
  • Properly scope all projects to ensure any challenges and roadblocks are identified early, brought to the attention of the management, and efficiently handled
  • Keep track of the spending, purchase orders and invoices
  • Ensure all work has been managed and secured rights
  • Ensure error free, proof-read, clear marketing content and marketing materials

Reporting
  • Provide Management with weekly reports on community, campaign, and competitive listening based on SMCC tools and Media Agency reports
  • Report promptly on high clout engagements, influencer, and advocate activity and recommend actions based on that

Collaboration
  • Involve effectively other departments, making them co-owners and co-creators of social media engagement
  • Support the e-Commerce team on brand and content elements of the portal and the app
  • Work closely with other departments to translate their objectives into solutions
  • Build a strong positive relationship across the organization by engaging and communicating with superiors and with peers.
  • Maintain a productive, inspiring relationship with the agencies and vendors with the aim of delivering insightful and innovative content
  • Be always on the forefront of digital innovation, propose, develop and implement ideas that innovate and engage
  • Advocate and disseminate best practices, new learnings, and developments across digital media, mobile, and new technologies within the organization
  • Maintain high ethical standards of the team and compliance with Saudi laws, customs, and social responsibilities.

Knowledge:
  • Expert knowledge of the contemporary social media environment and best practices in KSA and abroad
  • Fluency with social media analytics and reporting

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Experience:
  • 8-12 years of job-related experience within social media marketing, communications, and advertising team
  • Previous experience in digital marketing with a focus on mobile in a large consumer-focused organization in KSA (can be agency side)
