Role Purpose

Assist Network Planning section of the department, primarily focusing on the production of schedule over short to medium term, managing slot portfolios of the existing network and take remedial action in conjunction with relevant stakeholders

• Plan, create, and maintain seasonal flight schedules over the short- to medium-term.
• Perform schedule changes and coordinate the schedule change process with other departments to ensure that all passengers are notified in time and all relevant stakeholders are informed about the schedule change.
• Manage the airline’s slot portfolio; negotiate with airport slot coordinators to acquire new / improve existing takeoff and landing slots.
• Support the Schedule Manager in improving schedule efficiency by identifying gaps and opportunity costs.
• File for seasonal and ad-hoc schedule permits. Assist with other regulatory work as required.
• Support the senior member of the team in planning for the launch of new routes.
• Regularly update and distribute operational and marketing schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
• Aligning and managing communication and approval processes between all stakeholders.
• Liaise with Sales, RM and flight operations; effectively deploying available aircrafts for charter and ad-hoc operations.
• Monitor flights and liaise with Revenue Management and Operation Control Centre (OCC) for cancellation and additions.
• Publish flight for sale in Navitaire
• Assist in optimizing existing route performance through frequency and schedule improvements.
• Support the senior members of the team in developing medium and long term schedule plans.

• Detailed knowledge of industry data sources

• Bachelor’s Degree in aviation discipline, engineering, or related field

• IATA courses would be of benefit

• 1-2 Years of work experience in planning
• Little experience on scheduling software would be preferred such as Airflite/Netline/Oasis
• Slot portfolio management
