Role Purpose

Manage Network Planning section of the department, primarily focusing on the production of feasibility studies into new routes, monitoring the financial performance of the existing network and take remedial action in conjunction with relevant stakeholders

• Route evaluations conducting research to identify new route opportunities
• Work in close collaboration with scheduling to provide economic analysis to evaluate the impact of any schedule changes
• Constantly review route performance against key benchmarks and report any deviations to senior management for intervention
• Monitor weekly and monthly financial results, identifying opportunities and threats to the business
• Monitor competitive airlines in terms of schedule, capacity deployment, and products offered to enhance flyadeals product in best possible way
• Continuously liaise with relevant stakeholders to optimise asset utilisation through adhoc charter requests
• Assist on adhoc projects and presentation, providing relevant analysis and expertise as required
• Writing business proposals
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
• Assist in development of long-term plan to assist in the evaluation of future fleet requirement and network expansion
• Aligning and managing communication and approval processes between all stakeholders.
• Liaise with Sales, RM and flight operations; effectively deploying available aircrafts for charter and ad-hoc operations.
• Monitor flights and liaise with Revenue Management and Operation Control Centre (OCC) for cancellation and additions.
• Publish flight for sale in Navitaire
• Generating reports and formatting data and preparing presentations for management
• Identify opportunities for network growth Identify and communicate opportunities with relevant stakeholders increasing asset utilisation

• Detailed knowledge of industry data sources

• Bachelor’s Degree in aviation discipline, engineering, or related field

• IATA courses would be of benefit

• 1-2 years of work experience preferably in planning domain
