Job Description
  • Maintain contract documentation related to all partnerships implemented.
  • Supporting his/her Manager by actively participating in revenue accounting related contract negotiation and contract review with Legal and Sales teams to ensure desired revenue recognition treatment is achieved.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly revenue accounting period closing including assurance of accurate and timely results.
  • Support his/her Manager in the revenue cycle to determine appropriate revenue recognition, development and support of pricing schemes and compliance with company and regulatory revenue recognition requirements.
  • Work in preparation of financial statement disclosures relating to revenue, including gathering and summarizing revenue recognition data, accounts receivable / payable, deferred revenue and other relevant areas.
  • Working within the service level agreement within revenue accounting ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accurate processing for revenue accounting documents on monthly basis.
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely reconciliation of all partnership related accounts.
  • Ensure robust processes for dispute handling are implemented and followed.
  • Create and maintain detailed SOPs for all tasks associated with the accountabilities and responsibilities of the role
  • Prepare the compilation and issuance of revenue accounting statistics and reports related to responsible areas.
  • Working in the communication and implementation of new revenue accounting practices across the company operations.
  • Working with the sales, marketing and commercial departments to formulate and publish policy and procedures to be used for booking, collection and reporting of partnership revenue(s).
  • Support his/her manager in work with external industry parties such as IATA, other airlines, agencies, airport authorities, government departments, auditors, to establish and run the revenue accounting department and to remain compliant with industry, government and legal regulations.
  • Helping in develop policies and procedures that are required to implement and manage industry standard & biliteral agency, GSA and airline partnerships (including Interline & Codeshare arrangements), ensuring a robust and scalable set of accounting and settlement processes are in place.
  • Support financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts including the annual revenue budget and monthly revenue forecasting associated with all partnership models (Interline, Codeshare, Agency etc)
