Job Description

Role Summary:

The Ancillary Revenue Analyst is responsible for supporting the airline’s ancillary strategy to achieve Ancillary Revenue targets. This is achieved through the implementation and management of all airline’s related ancillary products (fees, seats, and baggage etc.) the aim is to maximize revenue by setting price points and controlling flight/ancillary inventory in response to different level of passenger demand. Ensures that large data sets are interpreted while applying market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the commercial team to develop and implement flyadeal’s Ancillary Revenue Strategy.
  • Achieve airline targets with regards to ancillary revenues; working with providers and commercial colleagues to continually improve products, profit margins and distribution channels.
  • Support the revenue management team in the daily management of flights.
  • Continually analyses all relevant aspects of booking data in order to optimize revenue.
  • Ensure that optimum settings for demand forecast, price elasticity and seasonality are taken place.
  • Interprets and evaluates route performance and competitor activity, to present results on a regular basis and make recommendations for improving the strategy.
  • Continually identify and implement new products and revenue streams in line with Commercial Strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with all members of the department in line with the company’s culture guidelines.
  • Develop strong and lasting working relationships with all airline departments to ensure the smooth operation of the business and delivery of targets.
  • Use transactional data, market research and any other available analysis to identify and deliver new product ideas.
  • Develop insightful commercial reporting that can improve the commercial understanding of passenger behavior.
  • Contribute to commercial roadmap to support airline goals, demonstrating leadership through the debate, development and implementation of new initiatives, channels and/or products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science, mathematics, economics, or a relevant discipline
