Job Description

Role Purpose:

To meet GACAR Part 5 requirements of Key Safety Personnel. This job is primarily responsible for supporting the Safety team, through the management and administration of the emergency and crisis through collaborating effort to recover from disruption that might impact the airline. This position will provide outputs to flight operations, integrated operations control, inflight services, ground operations, maintenance, and others, as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Roles and responsibilities of Key Safety Personnel (KSP) GACAR Part-5.
  • Identify all potential hazard that could lead to operational disruption.
  • Monitor all potential disruption hazards and escalate it to management when appropriate.
  • Risk Assess all potential Hazard.
  • Log and create trends of all disruption events with accuracy.
  • Lead the effort with participant of various stakeholders in respond to any operational disruption.
  • Develop and execute promotional plan to enhance the readiness of emergency respond actions.
  • Communicate clear and accurate event details to the emergency response team.
  • Follow established emergency response processes and procedures with the ability to identify abnormality and escalate the need to deviate to Safety Management.
  • Demonstrate creativity, critical thinking, initiative and problem-solving skills to identify enhancement to CMP process and procedure.
  • Participate and assist in the development and execution of emergency exercises.
  • Lead after emergency exercises action evaluation with stakeholders.
  • Identify and document action items resulting from emergency demonstration.
  • Participate in Business Continuity development and implementation.
  • Participate in oversite activity to Ensure compliance with internal/external regulatory policy and guidelines.
  • Execute all assigned exercises by the Manager Safety
  • Ensures establishment of two-way communication with the reporters and their
  • respective Operational Divisions as deemed appropriate.
  • Safety Communication means across the airline such as Safety Newsletter, Website, Bulletins, Workshops, etc. to propagate safety information and to enhance safety awareness across the airline.
  • Assist the Manager Safety and department management with development of continuous improvement efforts, documentation of processes, procedures, and controls of CMP/SMS and maintain policies and procedures in an CMP manual Reviewing and updating of policies and objectives.
  • Integration of management systems.
  • Develop safety promotion material.
  • Organize safety campaign or safety day.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation/ SMS/ Aircraft Accident Investigation or related field
